China Shipbuilding Industry Association Welding Branch Visits Botsing Technology for Research and Inspection

Date:2023-05-04 Views:608

In order to better promote mutual understanding between member units and promote the application of new welding technology in ship construction, Zheng Huijin, Secretary general of Welding Branch of China Shipbuilding Industry Association, went to Botsing Technology to carry out technical exchange activities in mid-April. The leaders of welding laboratories of Hudong Zhonghua, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, Chengxi Shipbuilding and other shipyards, as well as leaders of Chuanhai College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Feng Xiaobing, chairman of Botsing Technology, and Time, director of Big Market Center, were warmly received.

At present, most of China's shipbuilding enterprises adopt the traditional manual welding method for production and manufacturing, which has some problems such as high labor cost, long time consuming, unstable quality and poor production continuity, and can not meet the requirements of modern shipbuilding enterprises. With the 17 ministries and commissions jointly issuing the "Robot +" Application Action Implementation Plan "at the beginning of 2023, emphasizing the deepening of robot applications in manufacturing and scientific research and other scenarios, and accelerating the pace of robot automation applications in the field of shipbuilding has become the general trend.

In the process of visiting the intelligent welding research center of Botsing Technology, the operator conducted practical welding demonstrations for the research team in a variety of positions such as vertical docking, horizontal docking, inclined horizontal docking, etc. The research team showed a lot of interest in the adsorption crawling ability of the trackless all-position crawling welding robot, laser recognition and tracking ability and welding process.

At this stage, from national policies to shipyard planning, are actively promoting the development of ship intelligent manufacturing technology. Welding is particularly important in the shipbuilding process, and the whole working hour accounts for about 30% ~ 40% of the total working hour of hull construction. Improving welding efficiency is a key research topic for many shipbuilding enterprises in the work of reducing cost and improving efficiency. The trackless all-position crawling welding robot of Botsing Technology is simple, easy to control, flexible and convenient, which is very valuable for closing weld welding, bottom plate welding, etc., and can achieve efficient and high-quality welding, while improving the intelligent level of shipyards.

At the meeting, Zheng Huijin, secretary general of the welding branch, said that at present, Botsing Technology has provided ship welding products and solutions for many shipyard partners to help shipyards improve welding efficiency, shipyard colleagues attending the meeting have high expectations for Botsing and Botsing products, and put forward higher requirements for the robot itself. The association is a bridge for the exchange of member units in the shipping industry. Next, the Association will introduce relevant policies and systems, actively promote the work of "double communication" and "double exchange", promote cooperation between member units to overcome industry difficulties, and achieve common development between member units.
